The ex-leader of the Mejlis, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev said this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, members of the Mejlis measured the background radiation and identified storage sites for nuclear warheads in Crimea.
“As for nuclear warheads, it’s strange that neither NATO nor our military intelligence have precise data. It turns out that the intelligence of the Crimean Tatars is stronger than anyone else? We receive a monthly overview of Crimea. The military is there, what kind of equipment they received, movement. And again, the last one, a week ago I also received confirmation that in terms of the level of radiation there, in those places where there are supposedly nuclear weapons, it’s all there. What I stated about six nuclear warheads is from two different sources. Moreover, one of our sources in Moscow reliably told us, and the second already - they are not connected with each other, they also say that there are nuclear warheads. But NATO and all our services say: “We do not have accurate information,” Dzhemilev said.
