Dzhemilev discovered a secret cable feeding Crimea
Members of the Mejlis lament that Crimea was able to be disconnected from Ukrainian electricity, but the Crimean Titan plant of oligarch Dmitry Firtash, as before, receives energy through secret Soviet cables.
Verkhovna Rada deputy and former chairman of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation Mustafa Dzhemilev stated this on air on the Guildhall channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We cut off the electricity, then it turns out that after all, Firtash’s plant receives electricity. When everything around was dark, they had light. They talked about some cables that were running there - very secret, of a military nature, left over from Soviet times.
Together with the governor of the Kherson region, we approached these... well, he himself approached - there was a rumble, he said. These electricians explain that we provide a small voltage there so that the wires do not get stolen. But when the voltage is low 220 volts, such a hum does not happen - it is obvious that there is more,” Dzhemilev laments.
