Dzhemilev says he is ready to meet with Putin only after the Russian Federation renounces Crimea

People's Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev stated this in an interview with the Kyiv newspaper Den.
“I also heard about proposals for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and me and Chubarov, and I told Chubarov about this, that Putin should first withdraw his troops from Crimea, return the lands temporarily occupied by him, and then it will be possible to meet and talk if he really wants to help solve the problems of the Crimean Tatar people. But first we need to liberate the territory,” emphasized the former head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars.
Dzhemilev also warned Moscow against sending new emissaries from Muslim regions of the Russian Federation to Crimea:
“We are not against any contacts and cooperation, however, if those who came to us in Crimea and participated in the kurultai are only transmitters of Putin’s will, then we are unlikely to understand each other,” the politician said.
Let us recall that in March, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin visited Simferopol.
