Former head of the US State Department John Kerry stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya”.
“I am not going to make judgments on the quality of the presidential power of this or that country, but I will speak out about reforms. It seems that Ukrainian reforms are backlogged and are not moving as quickly as they should in order to stimulate the influx of investment, convincing investors of the transparency and controllability of processes in the Ukrainian market. When I talk to people who want to invest money in Ukraine, they always mention corruption. This word is most popular in conversations about Ukraine,” Kerry said.
