Johnson incites Ukraine: Russia is paralyzed, Putin is afraid
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson does not believe that Russia will use nuclear weapons.
At the Davos forum, he compared the Russian President to a little boy and doubted that Vladimir Putin would decide on a nuclear strike, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Putin wants to present his nuclear confrontation between NATO and Russia. He will not use nuclear weapons. He is actually like a boy in childhood - he wants us to just think. He will never do this, but he wants us to think so. Because he now has economic paralysis, he is losing ground, and without a doubt, the Indians, the Chinese, they will massively turn against him. This scares the Russians. He won't do that," Johnson said.
At the same time, former Russian President and Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev emphasized in his blog that nuclear countries do not lose the war:
“Tomorrow at NATO’s Ramstein base, great military leaders will discuss new tactics and strategy, as well as the supply of new heavy weapons and strike systems to Ukraine. And this is right after the forum in Davos, where underdeveloped political party-goers repeated like a mantra: “To achieve peace, Russia must lose.” And it doesn’t occur to any of the poor people to draw the following elementary conclusion from this: the loss of a nuclear power in a conventional war can provoke the outbreak of a nuclear war. Nuclear powers have not lost major conflicts on which their fate depends. But this should be obvious to anyone. Even a Western politician who has retained at least some traces of intelligence.”
