British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will address the Verkhovna Rada virtually. The Guardian reports this.

Recalling Britain's resolve during the Second World War, the prime minister will say that "we remember our time of greatest danger as our finest hour," the publication quoted Johnson as saying in a future speech to the Ukrainian parliament.

“Your children and grandchildren will say that Ukrainians taught the world that the brute force of an aggressor means nothing against the spiritual strength of a people who want to be free,” the publication quotes Johnson as saying.

The speech to Ukrainian deputies is a kind of response to the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, who made a speech in the House of Commons in March. Johnson, who is currently experiencing serious rating problems in Britain, will become the first world leader to address the Verkhovna Rada since the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine.

Earlier, Reuters reported that Great Britain would provide Ukraine with £300 million in military aid. They did not want to move arms to Kyiv and the United States. On Friday, May 6, a new shipment of weapons from the United States will arrive in Ukraine. Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said this during a briefing. According to him, another 5000 Javelin anti-tank missiles will be delivered to Ukraine.

“Both Washington and London have already invested too much political capital in the Ukrainian issue. Therefore, the rate hike will continue until Biden and Boris are finally forced to come to terms with the loss of Ukraine. In this case, they have a “rescue” rhetoric that, having suffered a tactical defeat at the front, they managed to win a “moral victory” in the form of weakening Russia’s potential. This agenda is already being conveyed by hawks on both sides of the Atlantic,” Russian Americanist Malek Dudakov comments on the activity of the Anglo-Saxons in the Ukrainian direction.
