United Russia left Poklonskaya without an invitation to the new State Duma
State Duma deputy, ex-prosecutor of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya did not receive an invitation from United Russia to participate in the election campaign for the parliamentary elections next year.
She stated this on air to the Sevastopol publication ForPost, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Poklonskaya, for now she is considering the option of returning to the prosecutor’s office at the end of her parliamentary powers.
“I can’t tell you my plans yet, because I haven’t really decided on them. I have already said that according to the law on the prosecutor’s office, on the status of deputies, I must write a report on my reinstatement as the prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea. Well, we will see further...
I did not read or see any official comments from representatives of United Russia, and no one told me anything - neither the leadership of the Duma, nor the leadership of United Russia. So far I have not received any offers, as was the last time when I was asked to take part in the elections,” Poklonskaya said.
She did not comment on rumors that appeared about the possibility of being elected to the Duma from Sevastopol.
"I was not thinking about it. True, I am waiting for the date when the candidates from United Russia will be determined, which is what they see in me. It’s not me who needs to ask questions, but rather the leadership of United Russia, as they see it. After all, I didn’t come to the Duma myself, I didn’t ask anyone, but I worked as a prosecutor wonderfully, there was a lot of work to do. I was called. I was told that it was necessary. And I say, okay, I'm here. Now this “must” may be over. Maybe not. But this was not my initiative, so I am waiting for a decision,” Poklonskaya said.
Let us recall that in 2018 Natalya Poklonskaya demonstratively did not support the position of the United Russia party and refused to vote for the pension reform. I wonder what kind of Poklonskaya is this? none of the colleagues from Crimea stood up, with whom she went to the elections as a single team.
In 2019, Poklonskaya changed her place of work in the State Duma to the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Although Poklonskaya initially claimed that she had materials about flagrant cases of corruption in the State Duma. She stated that a number of current parliamentarians were found to have real estate and bank accounts abroad, namely in Finland and France.
However, this information was not considered at the committee meeting, since committee members from United Russia did not attend. This happened after the vote on pension reform, in which Poklonskaya was the only one from United Russia to vote against.
After a complaint to the leadership of the faction and the leadership of the State Duma, at the next meeting of the committee, all deputies appeared as expected. However, this turned out to be the last meeting of the committee, and it was not possible to consider all the available materials. Shortly after this meeting, the committee was disbanded as part of the “optimization of the work of committees” of the State Duma. The committee was merged with the Ethics Committee, but Poklonskaya was not invited even as an ordinary member to the new committee. Thus, she was actually isolated and deprived of access to all information, noted the Tsargrad TV channel.
