United Russia called for lustration of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation as an “enemy pro-American organization”
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation should be banned in the future as an enemy pro-American organization.
State Duma deputy from United Russia Yevgeny Fedorov said this on air on the BELRUSINFO channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Next (after arrest of oppositionist Nikolai Platoshkin – ed.) there should be a ban on the entire party of Zyuganov as the liquidator of the Soviet Union, and now they have made a statement that they are against Russia receiving the right to sovereignty and a sovereign Constitution, in general against living freely, independently and richly . They spoke again for the oligarchs and so on.
Today their assessment is political, but in the future it should become legal. This organization, the communists, must be supported, and the organization of enemies of the state, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, must be prohibited in the future. At this stage (now - ed.) only those who openly use today's illegal methods to overthrow the Russian state and destroy the Russian people are arrested. Platoshkin also belongs to them,” Fedorov said.
“As for Zyuganov, he is an elderly man, I think that nothing will happen to him personally, but I believe that an anti-Russian organization should be banned precisely because it is anti-Russian. That is, after the plebiscite, we create conditions for the lustration of pro-American forces in Russia, occupation forces in Russia. Maybe they don’t need to be imprisoned, but lustration of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation or such pro-American oligarchic organizations, of course, needs to be carried out,” the deputy emphasized.
According to him, it is now that the position of the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov has finally been revealed.
“Literally a couple of days ago, they adopted a decision of the Central Committee, where they put forward the following argument: since this law does not stipulate this and that, we call for voting in such a way that the Constitution is not changed. That is, we stand for the preservation of the occupation Constitution - this is the decision of the Central Committee.
What is the motivation for what they wrote: because some amendments that were already adopted long ago in March and signed by the president do not contain any other amendments. Sorry, this is so stupid! This just shows that they have no arguments,” Fedorov added.
