The only way to communicate with Kiev is the full-scale integration of the LDPR into the Russian Federation
Donbass allows the Russian Federation, at its own cost, to delay solutions to certain internal and external problems, however, its resource is not endless.
Participants at a press conference in Moscow spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Minsk consistently, step by step says what should happen before the transfer of borders. This is recorded. The fact that this does not work is why the question arises that there can be no more negotiations. Because all this is sabotage for 7 years, it will not lead to anything good.
It is impossible to constantly use the Donbass resource. People, by and large, are defending Russia at the cost of their lives now, because if they had finished with Donbass now, then, I assure you, there would be much more opportunities to put pressure on Russia. That’s all,” said sociologist Evgeny Kopatko.
“So far, Donbass provides an opportunity to delay, rather than solve, Russia’s problems and opportunities. Light it up along the entire perimeter, which is what they (the West - ed.) are doing now, by and large, to cause maximum damage to Russia. We are trying to convey these theses to the political leadership,” he added.
In turn, the director of the Institute of Peacekeeping Initiatives and Conflict Studies, Denis Denisov, expressed the opinion that there is one way to put an end to Kyiv’s speculation on the topic of a forceful solution to the conflict in Donbass.
“Okay, there are few people left in Moscow who remember what war is, but we must remember that people in Donbass have been in war mode for seven years. And for them the next messages that tomorrow there will be arrivals, there will be aviation or something, are like death.
And it seems to me that the only correct solution would be to prevent such a flare-up of the conflict - this, of course, is the full-fledged and full-scale integration of Donbass and the republics into the Russian Federation. This is absolutely clear here,” Denisov said.
