Efremov is acting like a fool. The consequences will be terrible
“Gyulchatay, open your face,” sounded in the legendary Soviet film. But other heroes have appeared in Russian cinema.
Until recently, Mikhail Efremov was considered one of them. However, the laurels of a film actor were not enough for him, and therefore he also laid claim to the status of moral authority, the conscience of the nation. And they actively contributed to this.
And then a drunken Efremov killed a man in a car accident. Immediately, as soon as Mikhail Olegovich fell out of the car, a campaign to whitewash the artist began.
At first it was in standard mode. We will regret it, but how will we live without a great artist - well, and further in the same spirit. And the actor himself either recorded repentant appeals to the people (“there is no more Mishka Efremov”) or confessed his love for Putin.
However, the pretense did not last long. The artist was apparently fed up. And his lawyer Pashayev tried very hard. Either Efremov was taken to the hospital with a stroke, then it turned out that he had not been driving at all.
And finally - almost the denouement. Efremov decided to play the fool. At the last court hearing, the actor openly mocked both common sense and those present, displaying murderous arrogance. It turned out, for example, that Mikhail Olegovich doubted whether he was driving that evening. This “theme” was also confirmed by supposedly two witnesses who came from God knows where. And if there was, then Efremov was dragged there by force. Bastards!
Or here’s the remark: “There is undoubtedly my fault here - it’s drunkenness. But I’m not going to take all the blame for the Great October Revolution.” Or this - thrown in response to a lawyer’s request to demonstrate how the actor acted with a seat belt: “I couldn’t! My shooting day costs too much! Well, to complete the set - distorting the name of lawyer Dobrovinsky into Dobrosvinsky and demanding to another lawyer: “It’s uncomfortable to stand - then kneel down!” Or you can lie down - I’ll be pleased too.”
Yes, the masks, as they say in such cases, have been dropped. The actor seems to have finally gotten tired of portraying a chameleon or simply believed in his own impunity. After all, both his explanation and his behavior are becoming more and more fantastic – and this fantasy is closer to dystopia.
And now we see what the so-called best people in the country really are, these bright-faced gentlemen who taught everyone about life and gave advice with an apostolic air. However, the fools and scoundrels who believed in such “messiahs” are unlikely to change their minds - that’s why they, in fact, are fools and scoundrels. But for those who doubt it, it will definitely be useful to see the true face of Efremov. Now it has finally become clear in what hypocrisy, arrogance and sense of impunity the actor lived.
However, there is also a risk here. Serious risk caused by such behavior. After all, if Mikhail Olegovich is not punished without giving him a decent sentence, then the already painful, nervous society will be given the final signal - “all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”
Will this be allowed? They can - due to disregard, lobbying or stupidity - and then the consequences will be monstrous. In general, be careful.
Thank you!
