Efremov will be allowed to open a camp theater
Actor Mikhail Efremov, sentenced to 7,5 years in prison for a fatal accident committed while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, has been in quarantine for a week in pre-trial detention center No. 3 in Belgorod. In a few days, he will be taken to colony No. 4, where the rowdy football players Kokorin and Mamaev served their sentences.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets, the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Belgorod Region, Colonel of the Internal Service, Igor Vidashev, spoke about this.
He said that in the colony where Efremov will serve his sentence, there is a theater group.
“It’s true that until recently he was a puppet. The convicted puppeteer director who organized it was recently released,” said the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Belgorod Region.
According to him, if there is a person who is ready to organize creative work with convicts, then a corresponding circle is opened.
“If Efremov wants to create an entire theater, this is possible within the framework of the law. There's nothing wrong with that. The person will be busy doing what he loves. And time will pass faster and will have a positive impact on other convicts,” Vidashev concluded.
