Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierowicz spoke about this, reports the Polish publication Dziennik Zachodni.

The minister stated this on October 20 during a parliamentary debate regarding Poland’s cancellation of a deal to purchase French military helicopters.
At the same time, the Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Mohamed El-Badri did not confirm information about the possible sale of the Mistrals to Russia, Interfax writes.
A news agency source in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Egypt has no right to resell or transfer the Mistral without the consent of France.
Let us recall that last year Egypt and France signed a contract for the purchase by Cairo of two Mistral-class helicopter carriers, which were originally built for Russia. Paris broke the contract with Moscow due to the conflict in Ukraine.
