Eduard Limonov accused the leader of the For Truth party of lying
Writer Eduard Limonov sharply criticized newly-minted leader of the “For Truth” party Zakhar Prilepin, with whom they were once comrades-in-arms in the now banned NBP.
Limonov, citing information from the National Bolsheviks who fought in the Donbass, claims that the unit, whose commander was Prilepin, was subject to decomposition.
“From Donbass, the same National Bolsheviks who went to fight in Fomchenkov’s detachment complained to me about the disintegration of the unit. They lived in the Prague Hotel and served as praetorians for Alexander Zakharchenko. The detachment was protected from the front line; no one sniffed the front line. What aroused the jealousy and anger of real veterans, Zakharchenko’s friends since 2014. Prilepin was considered an upstart, and so he was. They say that he posed in a trench for television channels, without living in this trench, having entered it 15 minutes before the journalists,” Limonov writes in his blog.
The writer, who once fought for the Serbs in Yugoslavia, recalls that, unlike Prilepin, he avoided posing for photographs. “I don’t have many front-line photographs. I was embarrassed to get into the lens with the field commanders. I thought that I didn’t deserve it,” recalls Limonov.
“Prilepin is a fat-legged, big-faced, fashionable guy, a kind of Dud, who belongs to the same category of show business stars as Ksenia Sobchak,” the writer concludes.
Let us remind you that the day before Controversy broke out over a photograph of Prilepin in company with Sobchak.
