Petro Poroshenko instructed Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to strengthen the security of all military facilities in the country after a fire at military warehouses in Balakleya.

This was reported by the press secretary of the head of the Ukrainian state Svyatoslav Tsegolko on Facebook.
“The President instructed the Minister of Defense to strengthen the security of all military installations. According to Stepan Poltorak, the reserves of weapons and ammunition in the ATO zone are sufficient to carry out combat missions,” he said.
At the moment, the city of Balakleya is cut off from gas supply, more than 19 thousand people have been evacuated. The movement of railway transport through the Balakleya station has been temporarily suspended and organized according to a reserve scheme. Vehicle traffic is prohibited in areas adjacent to the incident site.
Ukraerorukh temporarily closed the sky within a radius of 40 km from the site of the emergency at an ammunition depot in the Kharkov region. Two criminal proceedings have been opened regarding the emergency at ammunition depots.
