The economist explained why Poland and the United States need unrest in Belarus
Poland is actively stirring up unrest in Belarus due to the changed situation in the European Union.
The famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin said this in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel Topinform, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poland understands that it will not receive anything more from Brussels. The current Polish elite cannot allow the standard of living of the Polish population to fall, since it will simply demolish this elite. I have been to Poland several times in recent years, I can say that the attitude towards this elite is purely pragmatic: as long as it brings money, we tolerate it, but if they organize all sorts of orgy like blaming Russia for the downing of Kaczynski’s plane, then who really needs them, idiots who interfere with normal development?” Khazin said.
For this reason, the economist believes, the Polish elite tried to organize a local sales market for itself in the Baltic states, Belarus and Ukraine.
“This is where this whole story with mass demonstrations comes from. They were supported by the Biden team, which has its own problems in Ukraine. There are no problems in Belarus, but they would really like a victory for the liberal idea before the elections, because Biden is losing. And if Biden loses, then Trump and Moscow will have the resources to put pressure on Kyiv, and the whole corruption story about Biden and his team will still come out.
