Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage are using the Security Council to redistribute property, bypassing court decisions, trying to turn themselves into “mini-oligarchs.” However, all decisions of the National Security and Defense Council that are made for this purpose are illegal and will sooner or later be challenged in court.

Economist Viktor Skarshevsky said this in a conversation on Apostrophe-TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The know-how of the current government, this mechanism of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, lies in its illegality and disregard for the Constitution. The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is an advisory body. Therefore, as soon as there is the first decision of the Supreme Court, and it will be in any case, on the illegality of any of the decrees of the National Security and Defense Council, this whole pyramid will simply crumble. It’s just a matter of time,” the expert believes.

From the point of view of economics and social policy, all NSDC sanctions are completely meaningless; they only serve to redistribute property.

“Yes, there were a lot of sanctions that affected, for example, smugglers - some were deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, which is also questionable whether it is constitutional or unconstitutional.

What is the result of these decrees - and what do we have? What, budget revenues have increased? No. Have smuggling schemes at customs decreased? Also no. Have tariffs decreased? No, they are only increasing. Have social benefits increased? Also no.

That is, if you look from the outside, all this is very similar to the redistribution of property - mini-oligarchs want to become oligarchs.

A striking example of this is Petro Poroshenko, a mini-oligarch who became an oligarch. Now something new is being formed, there is a redistribution from one to another,” the expert said.
