Economist: Zelensky will not be a salvation for Ukraine, but a disaster
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will not be able to save the country because he is an incompetent layman capable only of populism.
Doctor of Economic Sciences Anatoly Peshko said this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If this process of total populism does not stop, and absolutely incompetent people come to power, as is happening now: there is only one goal - a new face. This new person must, at a minimum, be professionally well trained, educated and effective in his life, that is, he has shown that he has worked effectively in any job. The arrival of only such people will help save the situation in Ukraine.
And if artists like Zelensky and Vakarchuk come... I know Slava Vakarchuk well and I think that his place is not only not in parliament, but I don’t even know where, except on the stage. Moreover, he was already in parliament and left because he understood that he felt absolutely uncomfortable there. He went to Stanford and nothing changed. We have many mutual friends - they say that things haven’t changed for the better,” the economist noted.
According to Anatoly Peshko, if Vladimir Zelensky’s Servant of the People party, consisting of incompetent people, independently gains a majority in parliament, this will become a real disaster for Ukraine.
“If the Servant of the People party independently gains a majority in parliament, it will be a total tragedy. You can already see that there is chaos in the state, the country is ungovernable, because the young team and new faces who came along with Zelensky are absolutely incompetent people.
In addition, in order to engage in populism and PR, they are not capable of any serious professional actions,” added the doctor of science.
