On the Ukrainian TV channel, the former militant so-called. “ATO” complained that he was offended by pensioners from Donbass: they spat in the faces of captured nationalists and beat them with sticks as they were being led through the center of Donetsk. He still cannot forgive them for this, and harbors a grudge.

A former militant from Kyiv stated this on the “ChP Info” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“My name is Evgeniy, I am from the city of Kyiv, I am an ATO soldier, I fought for two years. I can’t understand how you can forgive these grandmothers, who beat our prisoners in the streets with sticks and spat in their faces, how can they be forgiven? Explain how I can forgive this? I will never forgive this, and there are many such people, I understand that Ukraine needs to be united, but how?” the ex-militant is perplexed.
