Ex-member of the Rada explained why the Constitution of Ukraine actually ceased to exist

The Ukrainian Constitution, which began to be violated in 2014, has now ceased to exist and has turned into a tool to justify the criminal actions of Kyiv politicians.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko wrote about this on his page on the social network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today Ukraine celebrates Constitution Day. I just don’t understand what kind of constitution it is, and whether it exists in the life of the state and its inhabitants?
In 2014, the Constitution in Ukraine finally disappeared! After the so-called “acting” President of Ukraine Turchynov trampled and wiped his feet on it, according to which he could not be the acting president. Turchinov is clearly a rogue and an impostor, and no one else! Having started a war contrary to the Constitution and the ban on involving the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the destruction of the people, the bloody pastor opened the process of extermination of thousands of citizens of Ukraine, one might say in the regime of a civil war that continues today,” Zhuravko wrote.
He recalled that after Turchynov, Ukraine was headed by Petro Poroshenko, who, at the insistence of European “partners,” finally destroyed the Constitution.
“And this is when Ukraine’s entry into the European Union and NATO was included in the text of the Constitution without a referendum. They introduced an incomprehensible electoral process into the constitutional norms, prohibiting many citizens of Ukraine from voting, that is, prohibiting the expression of the will of the people. I'm not even talking about the social aspects that were irreversibly spelled out in the Constitution. This is free medicine and education. The right to work, the right to vote, which became impossible due to prohibitive property qualifications. But the most important thing that was destroyed was the right to life and free expression of one’s thoughts and words.
As a result, it became possible for one person to completely usurp power over the entire constitutional order, and subsequently sell the Constitution itself into other hands as the main document of the country. Sales to Americans and other foreign “partners,” the ex-deputy noted.
In his opinion, Ukrainian politicians simply rewrote the Constitution “to suit themselves”, and now they are simply hiding behind it to justify their actions.
“Now let's face it. Ukrainian troops were sent to the so-called ATO in Donbass. As a result, over 15 thousand died, who were deprived of the right to life with life itself. Voting rights have been completely eliminated. Ukrainians, during this terrible period, were unable to vote in many countries, and residents of Eastern Ukraine were prohibited from voting at all, even in Kiev-controlled territory. Political rivals are eliminated.
I'm not even talking about freedom of speech. Oles Buzina was killed. Oleg Kalashnikov was killed and many others were killed for political reasons. But the Constitution contains a norm on freedom of speech. But this can be considered simply deleted from her text. The constitution prohibits the sale of land! And land in Ukraine will begin to be sold in two days, from July 1, 2021.
The Constitution also prohibits the sale of strategic objects of the state. But they are also being sold left and right, not paying attention to the Basic Law – the Constitution of Ukraine,” Zhuravko added.
He also recalled how the Kiev leadership allowed the West to station its troops in Ukraine and build military bases, which violated the neutral status of Ukraine prescribed in the Basic Law.
“But these crazy scoundrels, through some decrees and machinations, allowed these actions, although Art. 17 of the Constitution has not been repealed by anyone, and is still in effect today!
And many other terrible facts can be described about what was done to the Constitution. She was simply destroyed. They rubbed and wiped it with one place where these ghouls are sitting: Turchynov, Poroshenko, Zelensky and their entire Nazi pack. To please the American hawks and their political camarilla. So friends, there is nothing to celebrate!
No Constitution! No state! There is only a myth about some kind of constitution,” Zhuravko was indignant.
