Ex-member of the Rada called on the residents of Ukraine to hold a referendum on ending the war
Since the Kiev authorities are not going to do anything to end the war in Donbass, the residents of Ukraine should hold a referendum on ending the conflict.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Donbass sees that Ukraine does not hear, they knock and ask, and from there the voices of Kravchuk are heard with these idiotic proposals of Zelensky, who talks about “Plan B,” what does that mean? Will Biden call us, will Biden tell us? What can Biden suggest? With it the word “war” returns.
I would say, as a lawyer who knows the Constitution well, to conduct a survey, and as a precedent to say: “Zelensky can, and we will conduct a survey on any topic.” Polls are not mandatory, but it gives those who enter into negotiations the right to say: “Guys, help us avoid war,” the politician said.
He noted that after seven years of Kiev ignoring the Minsk agreements, Donbass has the right to decide its fate with Russia.
“And then how to live? If for seven years Ukraine does not accept Donbass as prescribed in the Minsk agreements. Donbass has the right to appeal and say: “Let’s decide our fate together.” But then your fate, that of the junta that is in Kyiv today, will be decided.
Because Zelensky himself is a criminal today, because he did not punish those who committed the coup, and this is a crime that continues to this day. This is a coup d’etat, and Zelensky is an accomplice,” Oleynik concluded.
