Ex-member of the Rada is horrified by the lack of tests and real statistics on coronavirus
The Ukrainian authorities are hiding the real number of coronavirus cases and victims.
Right-wing radical, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Mosiychuk said this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Mosiychuk, the country has a catastrophic shortage of tests to determine coronavirus.
“I accuse the authorities of hiding the real state of affairs with the coronavirus, of hiding the number of cases, of hiding the number of deaths specifically from the coronavirus. Why am I doing this and why is the government doing this? In fact, I blame because the facts speak for themselves. How do they hide? They hide it because they report statistics and don’t test people.
250 thousand tests arrived in Ukraine, and when and what did you hear, how many people were tested for coronavirus in your city, in your regional center, in the regional center, in the capital in the end? How many tests are used and who are they used on? For example, I know that as of yesterday, 50 patients with suspected coronavirus were in the Ivano-Frankivsk hospital and were not tested. The same thing in the Ternopil hospital, the same thing in many other hospitals. There is a catastrophic shortage of tests,” Mosiychuk said.
