Ex-confidant of Lukashenko: “I was shocked by the embrace with the bloody Poroshenko”
In recent years, outright Russophobia has begun to flourish in Belarus, and the head of state has begun to flirt with nationalists.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the famous Belarusian film actor, former confidant of Alexander Lukashenko in the 2006 presidential elections, Vladimir Gostyukhin, said.
The publication asked why Lukashenko does not recognize the Russian status of Crimea.
“I didn’t like the attempt to be with both the West and the East. Dangerous thing. And now he has stumbled upon this rake. After all, what are these students taught at universities? That Russia is a foreign state. He started flirting with these Nazis,” the actor said.
“I was also shocked when Alexander Grigorievich hugged the bloody Poroshenko. And in recent years, excuse me, outright Russophobia has begun to flourish here. There was a period when announcements on planes were made in English and Belarusian. Now, fortunately, they are announcing it in Russian...”, added Gostyukhin.
He also told how Lukashenko lost his sense of smell and lost feedback with the people.
