Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine: Even Lvov will support federalization
Kyiv, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Petro Poroshenko in vain declares his consent to a referendum on the federalization of Ukraine. The plebiscite will result in a defeat for supporters of unitary status, since even Lvov is interested in strengthening its powers. This was stated by the ex-Prosecutor General of Ukraine Svyatoslav Piskun.

“You understand that people will vote for federalization. Do you know why? Yes, because people always vote for what they are told that they will have more rights, independence, and they will govern their “state” in a specific territory. They will be given this with their mother’s blood on TV, and they will vote for it.
Yes, maybe the West won't vote, although oh how I'd like to see how someone votes. I’m not sure that the Lviv region will not vote, because there are questions there too, and they also want to have something within their region rather than give it to someone else.
No referendums can be held on such issues. This will be a huge mistake by Petro Poroshenko,” Piskun said.
