“I found out whether Viktor Pshonka is still receiving a pension. According to the Pension Fund, he does not receive it. But the state of Ukraine calculates pensioner Pshonka’s pension as a resident of the occupied city of Donetsk,” deputy Yegor Sobolev wrote on his Facebook page.
“As for me, this is another (and very symbolic) argument about the need for a policy of complete economic blockade of the occupied territories. As recently stated by public organizations in the Donetsk region, he has developed a strategy for Ukraine’s victory in the Donbass. But Pshonka should not be awarded a pension, but should be convicted and his property confiscated. Including a house famous for its style. I wrote an appeal to the current Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin asking what the results were in this case,” Sobolev informed.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously pensioners from Donetsk had to travel to territories controlled by Kyiv to receive pensions and apply for pensions there.
