The former head of state security of Transnistria became Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR
Donetsk, July 10 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Former head of state security of Transnistria Vladimir Antyufeev was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.

He was presented during a joint press conference, which was attended by DPR Prime Minister Alexander Borodai and DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov.
“Vladimir Antyufeev has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs,” Borodai said.
As Antyufeev himself explained, in the DPR government he will oversee issues of state security, courts, justice and internal affairs.
Let us note that Antyufeyev arrived in the Transnistrian region of Moldova at the end of 1991. Accepted to serve in the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, he headed the Operations Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate. In May 1992, he headed the Office of Republican Security of Transnistria, and since September 1992, Minister of State Security. In 1994, he headed the Committee of Republican Security under the President of Transnistria, formed to combat organized crime, which was subordinate to the Ministry of State Security and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. Antyufeev is a citizen of Russia and is prohibited from entering the European Union.
