President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko introduced the new deputy head of his administration for administrative, social and economic reforms, Dmitry Shymkiv, at a meeting with representatives of public reform movements.

Let us recall that in December 2013, Microsoft Ukraine CEO Dmitry Shimkiv took a vacation at his own expense and went to support Euromaidan.

“On the basis of the Presidential Administration, a single platform and place will be created for interaction on issues of implementing reforms and consolidation between the president, the government, the Verkhovna Rada and, most importantly, civil society,” Poroshenko said, explaining Shymkiv’s functions in the Presidential Administration.

The message also notes that one of Shymkiv’s first tasks in his new post will be the introduction of electronic governance in the Administration of the President of Ukraine.

Petro Poroshenko, during a conversation with representatives of public organizations, also explained the appointment of Boris Lozhkin, Yuriy Kosyuk and Dmitry Shimkiv to the Presidential Administration.

“I was mercilessly criticized for inviting into my administration, in my opinion, I think, and in your opinion, the best managers in the state - Boris Lozhkin, Yuri Kosyuk and Dmitry Shimkiv. They have demonstrated in the real sector a real ability to introduce new technologies, to create companies that already operate to the highest standards,” the president said.

Poroshenko also noted that Lozhkin, Kosyuk and Shymkiv withstood extremely tough competition - each in their own field.

As Navigator reported, the former owner of the UMH media holding, Boris Lozhkin, was appointed head of the Presidential Administration on June 10.

On July 3, the chief executive officer of the Mironovsky Hliboproduct agricultural holding, Yuriy Kosyuk, was appointed first deputy for coordinating the power unit.
