Former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zakharchenko will be a defender of Russian investments abroad
Moscow - Simferopol, March 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - The former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is included in the expert council of the State Duma Committee on Property, where he will oversee the protection of property interests of Russian investors abroad. About it "Izvestia" said the head of the committee, Sergei Gavrilov. According to him, the former Ukrainian official will provide expert assistance in developing laws aimed at protecting Russian investments and facilitating the return of illegally withdrawn capital from Russia.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message noted the need to strengthen legal protection of Russian investments and property abroad,” Sergei Gavrilov told Izvestia. “As part of the activities of the committee’s expert council, it was proposed to entrust Vitaly Zakharchenko with work on relevant legislative initiatives.”
Now Zakharchenko works as an adviser to the Rostec state corporation. In January, the ex-minister presented the South-East charity foundation in Sevastopol. He himself took the position of president. According to him, the fund will help former law enforcement officers who suffered during the Euromaidan in Kyiv. At the same time, Zakharchenko said that he had no political ambitions in Russia and intended to concentrate on charity, the publication recalls.
