The global task of the West and Ukraine is to liberate Russia “from Asianism” and include it in the family of civilized states, as we had to do before. Former head of the SBU Igor Smeshko said this on air at UkrLife.

“Europe cannot be united if it does not include Russia. There cannot be a new system of collective security in the world if there is no security from Vancouver to Vladivostok. Euro-Atlantic civilization must gradually move and include the Russian Federation as an integral element,” he said.
“What was the significance of the annexation of Ukraine to the Moscow state. Asian culture, the Asian state received an inoculation of Europeanness, because everything came from Ukraine. Ukrainian culture defeated Moscow culture. It became the basis for the creation of the culture of the Russian Empire,” Smeshko continued his reasoning.
