Ukraine needs an information policy that would present it as a country with a great history and great spirituality.

The correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports this in the “Evening Prime” program of the “112 Ukraine” TV channel, the former head of the SBU Igor Smeshko said.

“If we want an external force, the image of Ukraine should not be as a country with Chernobyl and corruption, but as a country with a great history and great spirituality, a country that spread Christianity to 1/8 of the planet. And we need an internal information policy to bring to the average Ukrainian the true story, truth and pride in our people. The state did not do this. It believed that it could wait with the true history, which was actually stolen from us, appropriating 1000 years of our history, our name, our civilizational mission in Europe. We were slow on this,” Smeshko said.
