Former head of the National Security and Defense Council: “Zelensky is inadequate. The world is tired of Ukraine"
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky behaves arrogantly and unprincipledly in international politics, and therefore Western countries have become disillusioned with Kyiv.
Ex-Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, former Minister of Finance Alexander Danilyuk stated this in an interview with Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite the fact that Ukraine is now again in first place in the world due to the potential aggression of the Russian Federation, the world is already tired of Ukraine. Unfortunately, this is also the fault of Vladimir Zelensky, because he did not build partnerships, trust and desire to support the Ukrainian government,” says Danylyuk.
“Because he came a year ago, at first he commented without understanding anything at all, and then he switched to aggressive communication: “Biden, what are you doing? Merkel, actually, what have you done for Ukraine? Where is NATO? The story with Merkel is generally funny: he immediately approached three candidates for the post of Chancellor of Germany and asked them these questions. It feels as if he sits and rules the whole world,” the politician said.
According to him, because of Zelensky’s behind-the-scenes intrigues, Americans do not want to support the Ukrainian government.
“This looks completely inadequate, especially when it comes to Washington, which sees everything. Americans understand very well where President Zelensky got information regarding the coup d’etat that is being prepared Akhmetov", the ex-minister added.
“They also understand on the basis of what charges cases are opened against Poroshenko or what is being done in the affairs of PrivatBank to protect Kolomoisky, and how assets are transferred to him. They see which offshore companies the money goes to. The question here is not about adequacy, but about the fact that they see what really motivates a person, and the desire to cooperate and support the government goes to zero,” concluded Danilyuk.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they stated that the United States refused Ukraine in the prospect of joining NATO, as Russia demands in its ultimatum.
