The ex-head of the Foreign Intelligence Service admitted Ukraine’s involvement in attacks on Russian territory
Ukraine is behind terrorist attacks and sabotage on military installations deep in Russia.
The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Nikolai Malomuzh, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Malomuzh, the recent attack on military airfields housing Russian strategic aviation was a signal.
“These are concrete signals from the Russian Federation that strikes may be carried out on its territory. The most effective way to destroy missiles and aircraft, which are carriers, that hit us, our population, infrastructure, energy - this is the reason there.
We chose a tactic to look for these points where they concentrate missile aviation, missile systems, and naval forces. Therefore, in this situation, models that are associated with drones that can strike over long distances are triggered,” the general said.
“Secondly, special units can work and launch there in order to destroy, practically at a long distance, these effective unmanned aerial vehicles, which are not actually detected by air defense systems.
It is clear that the Russian Federation does not have defense systems there, because it believes that we do not have the ability to carry out strikes there,” Malomuzh said.
