The ex-leader of “Aidar” laments: Poroshenko’s henchmen cannot lure the LDPR back to Ukraine
The Ukrainian authorities in the Kiev-controlled parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions are pursuing such a policy of oppression against the local population that they do not seek to return to Ukraine. Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Melnichuk, ex-head of the Aidar national battalion, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Now we see that the government that is on the ground in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions does not want the return of our territories, does not even want to accept those citizens of Ukraine who are in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
Representatives of the president - Zhebrivsky, Garbuz and others are doing everything to ensure that these citizens of Ukraine are deprived of something. And all this is transmitted, there is cross-border traffic, and it is transmitted to the other side. Although in those territories people want to return back, they see that oppression is taking place here. How do we want to take them back? This is a problem,” Melnichenko said.
