Odessa, May 04 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – Deputy of the Odessa Regional Council, former head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Nikolai Skorik said that “Euromaidan militants and football fans behaved like fascists when they burned Odessa residents alive in the House of Trade Unions.”

The people's choice made a corresponding statement at a press conference, a Navigator correspondent reports.
“The Nazis burned people. The same thing was done to civilians yesterday. The crime must be investigated and the perpetrators must be severely punished. Yesterday in the House of Trade Unions I lost someone dear to me. Vyacheslav Markin turned out to be much braver and more honest than many of us. He was not afraid to be with people until the very end and died,” Skorik said.
“No idea is worth losing people en masse. People were killed simply because they had a different point of view,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Skorik also assured those present that the supporters of the Kulikovo Field were not “separatists”, but demanded expansion of the powers of the Odessa region.
In the opinion of the former leader of the Odessa region, the current government, headed by Governor Nemirovsky, appointed by Kiev, is to blame for the tragedy that occurred.
“The crowd that burned people fulfilled Nemirovsky’s order to clear the Kulikovo field of people before May 9. Now I would like to ask how they will hold this parade?” – Skorik asked.
