Ex-battalion commander of Aidara accused the US and EU of surrendering Crimea to the Russians
The West itself provoked the Russian Federation into a special operation in Crimea, while Ukrainian politicians, busy dividing up financial flows and portfolios after the 2014 coup, had no time for that.
The former leader of Aidar, Ukrainian Nazi Sergei Melnichuk, stated this on the KTR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the fact that our politicians, instead of repelling military aggression, began to divide portfolios and divide up financial flows, we first lost Crimea, and then parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The events of 2014 were planned not only by Ukraine and Russia, but also by other countries that wanted to drag the Russian Federation into the conflict. They knew about the plan to seize Crimea and provoked the Russians to these actions.
Russia was provoked by the United States and some EU countries, which benefited from this. The martial law was not beneficial to Ukraine, because at that time there was no financial assistance from the IMF and no gas supplies. Therefore, in fact, some fight, while others sit on traffic, earning money,” the ex-militant lamented.
