Ex-battalion commander of “Aidar” hid property worth a million hryvnia from the state
People's Deputy, ex-battalion commander of the nationalist battalion "Aidar" Sergei Melnichuk and prosecutor of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office Vadim Chuikov were caught declaring false information about their income, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
“It has been established that people’s deputy Sergey Melnichuk did not declare corporate rights in two business companies in the declarations for 2015 and 2016, the total amount of which in monetary terms is 1 million 54 thousand hryvnia,” the report says.
In turn, prosecutor Vadim Chuikov in his declaration for 2016 did not indicate the cost of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle he purchased in 2014 and the BMW 2016D car in 525, did not declare income from the sale of another car and did not indicate the corporate rights of his wife.
“In total, the prosecutor’s declaration revealed false information in the amount of 2 million 356 thousand 617 hryvnia,” the report says.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau sent its conclusions about the identified corruption violations.
