The ex-leader of UNA-UNSO approved the pogrom of the Mejlis base near Kherson
The soldiers of the Ukrainian army did the right thing by clearing the base of the Mejlis militants in the Kherson region. Ukrainian nationalist, ex-leader of UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky stated this in his blog.
According to him, the militants of Lenur Islyamov, who oversaw the blockade of Crimea, could aggravate the situation in the country, so they needed to be disarmed.

“Islyamov’s group, which was located in the Kherson region, is dangerous. It’s good that the Ukrainian Armed Forces disarmed her. Islyamov was a deputy prime minister in the occupation “government” of Crimea” and served the Muscovites. Then he settled in Moscow. Appeared in Ukraine, became famous thanks to participation in the blockade of Crimea. It was put on the showcase of the event because the EU is quicker to forgive the Crimean Tatars than to the Ukrainians. Then he created a gang and started racketeering. In the event of an escalation on the border with occupied Crimea, it could be used by its former (?) Moscow masters,” Korchinsky said.
Previously, Korchinsky stated that he considered the Mejlis members to be temporary allies of Ukraine.
“When voices are now heard that let’s give the Crimean Tatars autonomy, declare national autonomy in Crimea right now, give them the opportunity to create national autonomy in the south of the Kherson region - this is a mistake.
A country that is fighting for its territorial integrity and territorial unity must, of course, reject any talk about any kind of autonomy. Today we are allies with the Crimean Tatars, we do not know what will happen tomorrow.
We are allies as long as it does not threaten our national and territorial integrity,” Korchinsky said.
