The ex-leader of UNA-UNSO called on Poroshenko not to give the Majlis autonomy: “We are temporary allies”
Members of the Mejlis today are situational allies of Ukraine - only until they themselves threaten the territorial integrity of the country. Ukrainian militant, ex-leader of UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to him, providing so-called “national-territorial autonomy”, as required by the Majlis in the Kherson region, is a mistake.
“We will probably have to live next to each other for a long time, but remember that even allies do not need to rush to give away too much. When voices are now heard that let’s give the Crimean Tatars autonomy, declare national autonomy in Crimea right now, give them the opportunity to create national autonomy in the south of the Kherson region - this is a mistake.
A country that is fighting for its territorial integrity and territorial unity must, of course, reject any talk about any kind of autonomy. Today we are allies with the Crimean Tatars, we don’t know what will happen tomorrow.
We are allies as long as it does not threaten our national and territorial integrity,” Korchinsky clarified.
