Former Minister of Economy: Poroshenko needs to declare a default right now, otherwise Maidan-3 in the fall
Experts advise the Ukrainian authorities to declare a default right now, and not in the fall, when the situation will be fraught with a new Maidan.
Such an initiative, in particular, was made at a press conference in Kyiv by the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov, who today acts as an independent analyst on finance and economics.

“Now is the most favorable time for default,” the economist emphasized. – There is no heating season, it’s warm, the default may be more or less manageable. Deputies are already packing their bags for the Maldives; people are not aggressive in this weather. In principle, it is better to carry it out now than in the cold time of autumn, when all this could be fraught with a new Maidan, especially in the context of the beginning of further bank collapses, the next stages of devaluation, inflation, unemployment, rising prices and other things.”
