Ex-Minister of Infrastructure: Kyiv is empty, Zelensky officials are fleeing the country
The leadership of Ukraine, including the ruling Servant of the People party, is taking its closest relatives out of the capital.
Former Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Omelyan, despite statements by government officials that there will be no offensive by the Russian army in the near future, Kyiv is noticeably empty due to the fact that the families of officials and politicians have left the capital.
“As for Mr. Arakhamia, as far as I know, I read on the Internet today, he plans to take his family to Cyprus tomorrow. That is, he knows for sure that there will be no offensive? Do you just need to relax in Cyprus for a month or are there other circumstances of this trip? I would also like to hear from him, because we see Kyiv completely deserted. There are suddenly no motorcades, we don’t see all these assistants to deputies and everything else, the president’s office. That is, they somehow disappeared into thin air - it seems to be there, but on the other side the streets are empty. That’s also a good question,” Omelyan said.
