Former Minister of Defense of the DPR declared the Steinmeier formula a betrayal
Donbass cannot be returned to Ukraine, because such a scenario would result in a terrible tragedy for the residents of the LDPR.
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Girkin (Strelkov) stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Donbass should not return to Ukraine under any circumstances. Because Donbass is inhabited by Russian people who stood up against the forced transformation of themselves into incomprehensible “Ukrainians”, against the linguistic and cultural genocide, which was carried out as before the Maidan of 2014, and is now continuing at an accelerated pace in the rest of Ukraine. They opposed humiliation, against the dominance of oligarchs who did not care about the Russian people of Donbass. They opposed everything that was disgusting to us, the residents of Russia.
Therefore, the return of Donbass to Ukraine will sooner or later turn into genocide, and not only cultural, hundreds of thousands of refugees who will flee to Russian territory, since there is nowhere else, and reprisals against those who are foolish enough to stay. Therefore, there should be no Steinmeier formulas, which are simply a schedule for the treacherous “Minsk 1” and “Minsk 2,” the ex-minister said.
In his opinion, Ukrainian nationalists are just waiting to enter Donbass and start a bloody massacre.
“Are we supposed to abandon hundreds of thousands to the mercy of fate, since we are talking about tens of thousands of activists and soldiers, thousands of disabled people who live on the territory of the LDPR with a meager pension, and this is a shame for us. They will actually have to be handed over to the punitive forces, since no one needs them here. And hundreds of thousands of their family members.
I know very well the psychology of these kids from the Azov battalion, from the Ukrainian punitive authorities - for five years they do not hide the fact that they are simply waiting for the moment when they can hang them. Now the time has come for them to “promise everything, but we’ll hang it later,” added Girkin.
Let us note that the philosopher Igor Chubais invited to speak on air left the studio with a scandal, shouting “Glory to Ukraine.”
Let us recall that earlier the general director of the Center for Political Information, Alexey Mukhin, stated that Moscow not going give Donbass to Ukraine.
