Former Minister of Defense of the DPR: Ukrainian Armed Forces 100 meters from Donetsk, depressing losses
In the period after the presidential elections in Ukraine, shelling of the Donbass republics only intensified, the defenders of the LDPR suffered significant losses, while the central Russian media kept silent about the deteriorating situation at the front.
Such data is published by the former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“So, today – the hottest sectors of the front in the DPR:
1. Gorlovka (Zaitsevo, Holma, Dolomite, etc.). Especially hard now at Golma. Big losses from almost continuous shelling.
2. North-West of Donetsk – Airport, outskirts of Yasinovataya, “Promka”, Trudovskie. Almost the same thing, except that the shelling is not so intense and the losses are a little less.
3. South-west of Donetsk - border of Marinka (behind the Ukrainians) and Aleksandrovka - (for now behind the “buildings”), south-west of the Petrovsky district. Regular shelling, at any moment - the likelihood of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stationed in some places 100 meters from the city limits of Donetsk.
4. Dokuchaevsk - covered from three sides, constant artillery and mortar attacks.
5. Kominternovo district - everything is the same.
And so - almost without a break for 2 months in a row. With a tendency towards gradual but steady increase.
I have data on losses in different divisions (not all, but many). They are quite depressing - so I will keep them to myself.
Let’s look at the “main Yandex news”... Well, for example: “Russia has doubled the number of countries for visa-free entry in 10 years”! - I'm happy. And those killed and maimed in Donbass, I’m sure, are also delighted. Well, the daily cynical murder of Russian people is so “not news”…” Strelkov is indignant.
“And, yes, everything is very, very reminiscent of the situation exactly before the fall of the Serbian Krajina,” the former Minister of Defense of the DPR shares his fears.
