Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine: “We will destroy Russian soldiers by the thousands”
An attack on Ukraine will allegedly result in colossal losses for Russia.
The former Minister of Defense of Ukraine, lawyer Andrei Zagorodnyuk stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, Russia does not have enough strength to keep Ukrainian territory under control.
“They don’t have a single scenario, not a single option where the positive would defeat the negative. They are actually already losing in all options. It was a huge strategic mistake for them to do this entire campaign at all. This campaign will not end in anything positive for Russia. Even if we consider the scenario of a full-scale military offensive, a combined arms operation, well, okay, they will go somewhere, it’s not a question of what’s next?
And then nothing, they have no strength to hold any serious territory. It will just end in a long, boring, difficult conflict where thousands of Russian military personnel will die, a conflict that will not bring them any advantages.
This is about the big offensive. At this time, the Ukrainian military will hit them, the Ukrainian territorial defense will hit them, volunteers will hit them, and so on, constantly destroying them behind every fence, around every corner. What could be the chance of their victory in this case? None,” said Zagorodnyuk.
