The ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine makes good money from supplies to the Russian military-industrial complex
Former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev, who moved to Sevastopol after the victory of Euromaidan, through a number of persons owns a business in Ukraine, and supplies products to Russian defense industry enterprises.
This is stated in the plot of the Ukrainian television program “Schemes,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
We are talking about the Svessky pumping plant in the Sumy region, which is controlled by Lebedev’s daughter, Alena.
According to Ukrainian journalists, since 2015, the plant has supplied equipment to Russia worth about 200 million rubles.
In particular, the products of the Ukrainian enterprise were received by the Kazan State Powder Plant, the Tambov Powder Plant and the Perm Powder Plant.
“The mentioned powder factories, in addition to the actual gunpowder for small arms, produce components for many other weapons systems.
The Perm plant supplies the Russian defense complex with charges for the Grad and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems, air defense systems, and engines for short- and medium-range air-to-air missiles.
Tambovsky is the main supplier of armor-piercing sabot shells for tank artillery. The Kazan plant produces shell casings and propellant charges,” notes the author of the investigation.
The story also says that the Svessky Pumping Plant is part of the Aurum Group, the founder of which is Alena Lebedeva, the daughter of the ex-minister.
The plant’s products are supplied to the Russian Federation through the Trade House “Svessky Pump Plant” registered in the Russian Federation, the owner of which is Galina Gutarina, whom the authors call the sister of Pavel Lebedev.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev joined the board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
