This was stated by MP, ex-Minister of Health Oleg Musiy.
“Canceling the festival would be the most correct decision. I would not recommend people to go to Lviv for the festival for the sake of their own safety and precisely in the epidemiological sense, because carriers of all kinds of infection and fermentation of garbage do not contribute to the atmosphere of the festival,” Musiy said.
According to the people's deputy, after visiting the jazz festival, “people may develop health problems.”
Musiy emphasized that thousands of potential visitors to the event could contribute to the creation of a negative epidemiological situation.
He noted that the sanitary and epidemiological service does not respond properly to the situation that arose in Lviv.
“She should generally declare (Lviv - ed.) a zone of environmental disaster in the state, and not in words - they want and want, but they cannot declare it,” Musiy said.
