Ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU made public the atrocities of the Ukrainian volunteer service
The Ukrainian punitive battalion "Shakhtersk" ("Tornado") was disbanded in September 2014, despite the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, boilers and a direct threat from the Donbass militia to enter Mariupol.
An employee of the central apparatus of the SBU, Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Prozorov, who went over to the side of Russia, spoke about this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“The Shakhtersk battalion was disbanded. Imagine, September 2014, the worst escalation, the militia almost took Mariupol, there, the Izvarinsky, Ilovaisky cauldrons, and then they disbanded Shakhtersk, which is operating on the southern coastal flank. It is simply disbanded.
Can you imagine what they have done, that in such a difficult time the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Avakov, is disbanding them? Moreover, this issue was discussed at the meeting level with the President of Ukraine. Can you imagine what they did? - said Prozorov.

“Regarding Shakhtersk, I personally witnessed when they stopped the car in the evening. This is the summer of 2014, that is, this is the shore of the Azov Sea, recreation centers, many people went out to swim, and in the evening they returned to the city. They stopped a car in which a man and a young girl were driving. The girl is a waitress at one of the Mariupol restaurants. They stopped him on the highway outside the city, pulled the man out of the car, put a bag on his head, said that he had a St. George ribbon and brought him to Mariupol to the airfield. to the “library” (illegal prison of the SBU – ed.) That is, how did we know this? The “library” was in my department, specifically in mine.
They started asking the man, he told him all about it. We started looking for the car, looking for the girl, there were no phones, no one was answering, we couldn’t find the car. It then surfaced a few months later either in the Zhitomir or Vinnitsa region under the “left” numbers, but the vin code, chassis number, engine number were found, but it did not go anywhere.
And the girl disappeared, and literally at the end of the rotation, the local policemen seemed to receive a report that the body of a young girl had been discovered in the reeds. Where the Kalmius River flows into the Sea of Azov. They found her with traces of rape, all kinds of abuse, mutilated her, in general. Well, this is like the Shakhtersk battalion,” said Prozorov.
