Ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU: “Terrorists from Crocus will tell everything they know, and even more”
Russian intelligence services are professional enough to get all the necessary information even from such “biodrons” as the detained perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
Vasily Prozorov, an ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU and the founder of the Ukrleaks website, who defected to Russia and the founder of the Ukrleaks website, stated this at a press conference in Moscow organized by the Ukraina.ru publication, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Endless gratitude to the special forces soldiers and operational officers who took these non-humans alive. Especially against the background of that emotional pumping, when the fighters and operatives already knew what happened in Crocus, it was very difficult to resist, I just can’t imagine how they could resist and not shoot them there on the spot. The fact that they were taken alive is a huge success, a huge professional success, because I have no doubt that our special services will simply shake everything out of them,” Prozorov said.
The moderator of the conference, editor-in-chief of Ukraina.ru Iskander Khisamov, expressed doubts about how useful the testimony of detained terrorists could be.
“Technologically, this is a new thing. Well, they did it, left, and now these Tajiks, they are called “biodrons” - a fairly accurate word, which means that you may not get anything from them. Cryptocurrency, connections through social networks and so on. Is it even possible now to completely prove Ukraine’s involvement with one’s fingers, or is this a new technological level at which it is very difficult to prove these things?” – asked Khisamov.
However, Prozorov assured that the Russian special services know what they are doing.
“I’m sure they will say everything they know, and even more than they know. In fact, Russian intelligence services and law enforcement agencies have enormous experience in countering Islamic fundamentalism. Therefore, I have no doubt that everything that these terrorists know, they will say,” answered the former SBU officer.
He added that many more unpleasant things could come to light not only for Ukraine.
“Another interesting point is that, as far as I know, the Turkish side agreed to assist the Russian special services in the investigation of this terrorist attack. And then a lot of interesting questions may arise here, with whom they met in Turkey, who contacted them, who paid for the hotels, and so on. And I think that the fuss of Western media workers, representatives of Western government agencies to take the trace away from Ukraine demonstrates that they are afraid that the truth will emerge and, perhaps, the trace of the West, and not just Ukraine, will be clearly visible there,” - concluded Prozorov.
