Ex-political strategist Poroshenko spoke about his crimes
The reign of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was a total state lie.
Political strategist Sergei Gaidai stated this in a commentary to the Kyiv magazine “Novoye Vremya”, answering the question whether he considers Poroshenko guilty, against whom the SBI sent a draft of suspicion to the Prosecutor General’s Office and asked to remove his parliamentary immunity.
“To briefly describe his presidency, it is a total state lie, the primary source of which was himself. It all started with promises during the election campaign, when Poroshenko promised to win the war and quickly deal with terrorists. Nothing was done in this regard, and his apology in the face of such massive loss of life is too little political payback. Then there was the Ilovaisk tragedy, during which he, as commander-in-chief, did not take the necessary actions and showed negligence,” Gaidai said.
He calls the second unfulfilled promise to sell all business assets.
“Not only did he not sell a single one, but it also turned out that the Lipetsk factory continued to operate for 2,5 years,” the expert recalled.
The publication’s interlocutor also recalled Poroshenko’s corruption in the army and Ukroboronprom, in which his business partner Oleg Gladkovsky took part.
“But in fact, his global guilt lies elsewhere. The country demanded decisive and radical reforms, but instead received one of the oligarchs, who continued to maintain and defend the shadow neo-feudal state. This is a political fault. And everything else is a matter for the investigation and law enforcement agencies,” Gaidai concluded.
It is noteworthy that recently Gaidai admitted that he had previously served the interests of Poroshenko, who has lost his morality.
