The ex-pravosek was stunned by criticizing the idea of Maidan

Yesterday’s Maidan activist and “right-winger” Borislav Bereza, Vitali Klitschko’s rival in the mayoral elections of Kyiv, unexpectedly criticized the Maidan as a way to change power - according to him, the election route is much preferable.

“Online cries about a third Maidan have begun again. Maidan! Maidan! You don’t threaten Maidan, but go to the polls. Elections are the same Maidan, but without standing in squares and without rallies. Do you want to change the government? Go to the polls,” Bereza wrote on his Facebook page.

“You just need to go to the polls. And make your choice based on the actions or inaction of the authorities. If he works well, we re-elect him, but if he does nothing, we change him! But if you ignore elections, then besides revolutions there will be no other options for changing power. Draw your own conclusions,” the deputy said.

Donetsk journalist Ramil Zamdykhanov sarcastically commented on the statement of yesterday’s Maidan activist.

“They say that a certain Bereza wrote that the Maidan is destructive and should not be so, but the elections are quite the opposite, civilization and progress.
Not that I mind. I just have a couple of characters in mind that I would recommend printing this post out and devouring. Maybe it will get into my head faster,” Zamdykhanov stated.
