Former “pravosek”: “Servants of the People” never understood why Danilov was fired
The problem with Ukraine’s information policy is that President Zelensky’s team and the deputies of his parliamentary faction are deeply convinced that they can say whatever they want and embarrass themselves without any diplomatic consequences.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-speaker of the Right Sector banned in the Russian Federation, Borislav Bereza, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If people around you point out your mistakes, and you ignore them, then maybe you should continue on your own? This could lead to Ukraine being isolated. We now do not have the best relations with almost all partners, thanks to the “great experience, understanding, intelligence and competence” of this government, we see a failure on all fronts of information policy. What to do - they do a better show. But we don’t need to make everyone turn away from us now.
By the way, even those who are not friends for us, there is no need to make relations with them significantly worse. This is, for example, about the statement of Danilov, who spoke very incorrectly to the Chinese representative and called Li Hui incorrectly. And this became known in China, it caused not only irritation in China, but also an understanding that this could harm Ukraine. That’s why he was fired,” recalled Bereza.
However, he was surprised that no one drew any conclusions from this.
“But the most interesting thing about this is that I talked with some of the “servants”, I said: “You understand, have you drawn conclusions? You need to keep your mouth shut. You are not bloggers, you are representatives of the political elite of Ukraine, you are the government.” To which they told me a very interesting phrase: “Well, who pays attention to us?” This is a big problem. They feel neither authority nor experts. Therefore, such actions, and such statements, and such a shame are possible,” the former “pravosek” was indignant.
