Kravchuk’s ex-representative in Sevastopol: “It’s time to strike the center of Kyiv”
It’s time for Russia to stop feeling sorry for the Ukrainian regime and raze the front line to the ground, without avoiding attacks on the government quarter in Kyiv.
The former representative of the President of Ukraine in Sevastopol (1992 - 1994) Ivan Ermakov stated this on the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Russia should act more firmly and decisively within the framework of the operation in Ukraine.
“It seems to me that we need to move on, not just say that we will protect the Kherson region, the people who stayed there, who, by and large, want to be in Russia, because they stayed there. Many left for the territory of Ukraine, and those who remained, they are ready, but they are afraid...
It seems to me that from these conversations that we struck there - this must be done, the military command at the top knows what to do, but it seems to me that we must not be afraid and this front line, where it passes without taking the city, should be razed to the ground so that they know that Russia has strength. Don’t just say that there is power, but show that it is the most powerful, and this is what will happen if you don’t come to your senses...
I wouldn’t touch the cities yet - yes, they are covering themselves there, but there is a front line. Such fortifications have been built near Donetsk, so be healthy. That’s why it’s still difficult to take, even though they’re beating us. There's so much concrete poured into the ground and so much equipment that mom won't worry. This must be destroyed, and then the people who remain will see that something must also be done...
And we regret: “There’s no need to go to Kyiv.” Prime ministers and presidents of countries unfriendly to us also come there. They walk along Khreshchatyk as if they were at home, in their capitals. It seems to me that this is wrong - the answer must be adequate, then they will see that they cannot joke with Russia.
Americans never feel sorry for anyone - if they decide to do something, they do it, but we do something like that. Our president believes that something can be done in a better way. Good things will never happen with these bastards,” Ermakov said.
